Leigh-Smith says " with so many of our clients often restricted in berthage sizes either at their residence or at their marina, there has been a strong demand for the renowned Alaska finishes, beautiful aesthetics & amidships master layout on the 43ft hull & we have finally delivered this"  One of the class leading differences is the 4.2m beam - variable deadrise hull design offering a far more stable and volumetric platform ensuring the vessel can cruise comfortably at 9-10kn or sprint to 20kn+ yet also is incredibly stable & conformable whist at anchor unlike many round bilge designs.    
Economical to own in all aspects, the twin 6.7 Litre Cummins 380hp engines offer reliable quiet and efficient cruising at 17 knots with a WOT speed Of 20kn+. An intelligent aft galley to port which opens through a Stainless and Glass aft bulkhead to the cockpit is a real winner for entertainers.  Focusing on "minimal maintenance" teak decks have become an option paving the way for non-skid composite decking meaning a quick hose off is all they need, in fact there is no external timber at all. The cockpit is easy to clean and now boasts a secondary fridge & freezer ensuring this vessel is ideal for extended coastal cruising.  Fresh air is aplenty with opening stainless steel Portlights from ManShip.  As all Alaska Motor yachts and the vessel has a Side Power bow thruster for ease of manoeuvring, the tender is located on davits at the rear of the vessel LED Lighting, Raymarine electronics and customised Sheridan linen packages are all standard features on the Alaska 43 Sedan.
